Dreaded hair
You can attach the extensions in 3 different ways to dreadlocks.
Method 1 temporary attachment - Pull your real dread through the loop, sliding the extension all the way up to your root and then secure the extension with a small elastic band (sold separately here). We recommend putting the rubber band only on the extension so that it doesn't interfere with your natural roots, slide the rubber band up as much as possible so the loop is tight against your real dread. A more secure attachment can be achieved by also putting the band around your real dreadlock.
Method 2 temporary attachment – Pull the end of the extension through its loop at the top to create a bigger loop, put your own dreadlock through this loop and pull it tight around the base of your dreadlock.
Method 3 permanent attachment – You can permanently attach these extensions to your existing dreadlocks by cutting the loop open and then crocheting onto your real dreadlock.
Non-dreaded hair
Grab a small section of your hair, divide it in two and pull one section of the hair through the loop of the extension (a latch hook tool makes this a lot easier). Now braid your hair around the dreadlock extension, try to condense the braid so that it's mostly at the top of the extension. Secure the end of the braid with a small elastic band (sold separately here).
